Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my wrap last?

Vinyl is manufacturer guaranteed for 5 years, however can last longer. As long as the surface the vinyl is applied to is in good condition, vinyl will protect the surface and uphold resale value.

Can vinyl be applied to anything?

No, vinyl has it's purpose, which means it also has it's limitations. A surface with low adherence won't allow the vinyl adhesive to secure efficiently (i.e bare plastic). Complex shapes are also not advisable due to the vinyl only having so much 'stretch'.

Do you just wrap cars?

No, we will undertake any vinyl application job, as long as the surface and product is suitable.

Will vinyl be as good as paint?

The finish with vinyl is only as good as the surface it is being applied to. If your surface is orange peeled or chipped, the vinyl will also take on this appearance.

How long will it take to wrap my product?

Unless we have done several of the same products before, we can only give a rough estimate on service times. We aim to meet deadlines, however some items may extend time due to complexity.

"I can get my car painted for less than that"

To achieve a good finish paint job, with a reputable company, it is estimated paint would cost on average 2.5x the cost of wrap. We also cannot control the cost of vinyl from suppliers.

Does my service come with warranty?

Yes, as standard your service comes with a 12 month workmanship warranty. This however does not cover mistreatment of your product or wear and tear.

Can you print this design?

Yes, we can outsource printing, however it needs to be the original artwork, consisting of quality of 250dpi. Otherwise we can create simple designs and cut solid colour vinyl in house.

How soon can I wash my vehicle?

We recommend not washing your vehicle for 3-5 days following installation to allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Can you wrap alloys?

Whilst it is possible to wrap the faces of alloys, due to the exposure to wear and tear, this usually results in a reduced life span of vinyl. Therefore we recommend having your alloys powder coated. We can source this service from a third party company for you.

Does my wrap need to be cleaned with specific products?

Depending on the finish you have requested, matte/ satin vinyls need a matte/ satin specific product to ensure the finish stays as it should. PH neutral products should be used throughout. We also strongly advise staying away from your local car wash, and using a qualified detailer to care for your vehicle. We have contacts for these upon request. Alternatively, we can offer a maintenance wash in house.
